We are not always so on the ball and had no idea that we had to pass under a bridge on the way out of the canal. Fortunately Per informed us that the bridge opens every hour on the hour. We were there at 07.55 and had wake the operator to open the bridge at 6.00.

Arrived early in Gaios harbour. Harbour master very helpful.. His name is Kakprat? We got water, electricity and diesel within the first half hour.
Carl now in Leslies favourite place doing the afternoon ritual, that is wine and snacks. Snacks this time are pistachio nuts from the island of Agina. Really the best pistachios we have tasted.

Nearest beach 150 m from the boat. Pebble beach but very soft round flat stones. No problem having a rest and a swim in the most beautiful water. Made a big investment in a beach umbrella, 7 euros, but oh so necessary in this very sunny part of the world.

Leslie is hurrying off the boat to meet carl at the Pan & Theo taverna. Here the wifi signal is the strongest and we can use it on the boat.
