Acciaroli to Amalfi, 8 July

Next stop Amalfi. So exciting. Have heard and read so much about Amalfi.

Carl and I took a trip to Praiano where John and Alex spent their honeymoon 3 years ago. Went to the their hang out, Africana, but it was closed, probably only opens at midnight!

It is really very difficult to describe this town, with these amazing buildings stuck to the rocks. It is even more difficult to take a photo that does justice to this place. There  are very many tourists here, lots of ferries and busses going all over the place, in short a very busy active town.

We took a local bus to Praiano  and that was an experience not easy to forget. The road is narrow and windy, with two way traffic, hairpin bends, plus fantastic views. No need to say more.
