Sounds like an easy task but it was more complicated and challenging than expected. Considering that we had to take a taxi to the spare parts shop "Powerline" in Antica Ostia, buy the stuff, take bus, train and bus back to the boat and find out that imperial and metric doesn't match. But "a boer maak a plan" and the marina service helped out to make a match of the mismatch. The service work completed and LB was tested under load and is now back in tiptop shape.
And the reward, beer and at last the last of the ouzo!
This is the story of the diesel fitter:
Two Indians are looking for work. When asked what work they are looking for, the one says of his mate
" He is a knicker stitcher"
" And what are you then?"
" Oh, I am a diesel fitter "
" Ok" says the employment officer. "Your friend will go to Bradford but we need diesel fitters in Portsmouth"
" No no " says the diesel fitter, "we work together "
" But how can that be" says the recruiter.
" Well, he stitches the knickers and when a women comes in I take look at her and say : diesel fitter !"
I think we have been touched by too much sun!
