Wipfeld-Bamberg, 1 July

The Germany-Algeria match only started at 2200. Why so late? We have an early start and would like to have a good nights rest. As it turned out the match had to go to extra time before the German team won 2-1. 

Today will be last day in the Main. We could recommend everyone to make the Main visit. By boat , walking, bicycle, car it doesn't matter. There is so much to see and experience.

Leaving Wipfeld, would like to return.

Had my back turned and when I looked again a new relaxed, making the most of the sun, steering method had been developed. This requires prehensile toes. Wonder if he has grown a tail as well?

We have been talking about Berlin, Bamberg and the Black Sea for three years. Now at last we have reached the beautiful city of Bamberg. Bamberg is apparently a combination of Venice (because of the water), Prague (because of the buildings in the old town) and Rome (because it is built on 7 hills).

Made a quick visit to the city in the early evening and could not resist takings some photos.

Bamberg has 9 breweries. The most famous beer is the Rauch beer from Schlenkerla Brauerei.

Once again we misunderstood the bus timetable. (Happened in Münster as well). We took the wrong bus back but with help of the driver and the other passengers we were directed to another bus, that was after a 15 minute drive through the suburbs. While waiting for our bus a procession of tractors came rolling by.
