Koblenz-St Goar, 17 June

We could have spent a few days in Koblenz, especially in Kurfürstin Augustas park, or just watching the boat traffic on the Rhine and the Mosel, but we have the prospect of getting past the Loreley ahead of us, so we are moving on. The current round the Loreley is especially strong and we hear from everyone, "just be careful" . Carl is calm, Leslie is a bundle of nerves!
Boppard, cute name for a town, typical church for the region.
While I am slaving away at the wheel trying to keep us on course against the current, Herr Carl is on the roof sending down instructions and comments on the steering!

The marina at St Goar with the fortress in the background.  Did not visit the fortress, had other things to do like.....
...eating lunch...
.....and eating lunch...
...still eating lunch....
And climbing up the Loreley.
View from the top of Loreley. Planning the strategy for tomorrow's trip.
Shivver, shake...
Calm and easy
It will be alright in the end
And if it is not alright
Then it is not the end..
